Ordering

Are Solva fixtures made to order?

Most are. Smaller pieces we keep in stock; larger fixtures ship in 3–4 weeks because they are hand-spun on order.

Can I change an order after placing it?

Yes — if you write to us within 24 hours and we haven’t yet started production, we will adjust finish, size, or cord length at no charge.

Fixtures

What bulb does it take?

Most pendants and chandeliers take E27, max 40W. We recommend a warm-white 2700K LED for the softest light.

Can I dim a Solva fixture?

Yes. All our LED-included fixtures are compatible with standard EU dimmers. If you have a specific dimmer in mind, we will check compatibility on request.

Will the brass darken over time?

It will. Brass develops a patina as it lives — darker around the bulb where heat is highest, warmer where fingertips touch. Most people grow attached to this. If you prefer the original finish, we can supply a polishing cloth.

Shipping & returns

How long does shipping take?

6–9 business days in the EU, 7–10 in the US, worldwide delivery available. See Shipping & Returns for full detail.

How much does shipping cost?

€4.95 flat rate worldwide. Free on orders over €150.

Do you ship outside Europe?

Yes, to every country. Duties and import VAT are included at checkout for the US, UK, Switzerland and most worldwide destinations.

What if I change my mind?

You have 60 days to return, on us. We arrange collection from your home.

Project specification

I am specifying for a project — can I see samples?

Yes. Write to us at solva.decor@gmail.com mentioning the project and we will send finish samples and material swatches at no charge.
